Meeting 5.april is cancelled

On request by the audience we will blog in english from now on. This is to cater for those of you that prefer english over norwegian language such as the international students at Agder University College (AuC/HiA). BTW, it's a great way to practice english language :-)

The meeting have been canceled due to an overlap with a meeting at Agder University College in Kristiansand regarding the EU.7 fp and the EASIER program. The tentative program for the next meeting on May 3rd is the EIAO project.

For the June 7th meeting we are planning discussions about different technologies (platforms, architectures and frameworks) such as JadeMX Agent platform (Integrasco), Spring+Hibernate(InterMedium), J2EE (not confirmed), .Net (not confirmed) and J2ME (not confirmed). For each technology we will have a 10.min talk followed up with a discussion comparing the different technologies.

• Copy URL+ to copy a URL and its Title.

• Session Saver .2d to save the state of Firefox so that you can reastore it if it crashes.

Firefox plugins og presentasjon av bedrifter/fagfelt

Onsdag 8/3 vil vi få en presentasjon av plugins til nettleseren Firefox som er nyttige ifm. utvikling av webapplikasjoner. Vi vil også ta en runde der vi (dvs. alle de som møter) presentere seg og sin arbeidsplass fra et teknologisk perspektiv med vekt på produkter, prosjekter, teknologier, metodikker/teknikker, viktige teknologiske veivalg, organisering av team osv.

Grunnen til at invitasjonen kom forsinket denne gangen er at vi har hatt litt problemer med å få på plass programmet denne gangen. Vi hadde aller helst ønsket at en bedrift presenterte seg, men vi tar i stedet en uformell diskusjon der vi forsøker å bli litt kjent med hverandre og hva vi jobber med.

Det har vært et inspill blant annet fra medlemmer i A-IKT senter at vi bør rullere på hvor vi møtes. Derfor blir sted for dagen FoU bygget, der vi møtes i kantina kl.11:30 og starter som vanlig opp selve gruppemøtet kl.12. Dvs. samme tid, forskjellig sted.
